Water is just as important, and your body is made up mostly of water, so you need to ensure that you are drinking enough water to keep your body hydrated. Doctors suggest that you drink about six to eight glasses of water each and every day. This will not only keep your body in the best health but as well keep your skin hydrated and fresh.

Exercise

If you want healthy aging and to stay looking as young as possible for as long as possible, then exercise needs to become a major part of your life. Even if you have good metabolism and do not need to worry so much about weight loss, exercise should be still be a vital part of your everyday life.

Even if you can only get out for a half an hour here or there, it is still going to have a majorly positive result on the way that you age. You should focus on cardiovascular activities, those that are going to get your heart pounding and make sure that you have lots of stamina. Aerobics are great, and relaxation exercises like Yoga and Pilates are fantastic, not only to keep your body fit and toned but for stress relief as well.
